Kari’s research focuses on investigating the differences between pathologicaland non-pathological aging. Her approach to investigating this problem primarilyhas involved multivariate statistical methods paired with voxel-based morphometryprocessing of structural MRI’s correlated with behavioral measures of cognitiveperformance. In particular, she is seeking to understand the effects of blood pressurevariability on brain structures and cognition in healthy aging. Ms Haws received a B.A.in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley.
